Alaska Elopement, Destination Wedding | Kristin + Patrick

TO YOU I AM NOTHING MORE THAN A FOX LIKE A HUNDRED THOUSAND OTHER FOXES. BUT IF YOU TAME ME, THEN WE SHALL NEED EACH OTHER. TO ME, YOU WILL BE UNIQUE IN ALL THE WORLD. TO YOU, I SHALL BE UNIQUE IN ALL THE WORLD....”
— ANTOINE DE SAINT-EXUPÉRY, THE LITTLE PRINCE

“What about Alaska?”

Kristin + Patrick are both wild hearts and restless spirits at their core. With this in mind, one of the difficulties they faced after their engagement was finding a location to elope. Many people know, all too well, that 2020 and 2021 provided some serious hurdles to the travel industry. This has impacted so many people that we know and love. These two were no exception. After many conversations on their end, they finally found a place they felt captured their spirits all too well.

Next thing you know, all their closest family and friends were traveling to the Northernmost state to celebrate the love these two share together. They found the perfect Airbnb for everyone to stay and enjoy a chance to see this wild state. On the day of the wedding, everyone made their way up to a place known as Hatcher’s pass to celebrate these two. Kristin’s niece also has a floral business so she spent time there gathering local flowers for her bouquet and they turned out absolutely amazing! This wedding was truly magical and everything we look for in working with our clients. Shooting this wedding was a dream come true.

Getting the opportunity to travel to Alaska and shoot this wedding was such a joy for us, Getting to capture something so unique and remarkable is something that we love about this industry. Having the opportunity to travel across the globe and capture the love two people have for each other is one of our biggest passions in life and this wedding was all about that!

Kristin + Patrick, you are both so remarkable and we loved every second of getting to capture your elopement in one of the coolest places on earth! <3
